Time Management God’s Way-July Scripture Writing Plan

If you were to search on Amazon or make a trip to your local book store, you would find numerous books on the topic of time management. They all would give great advice on how to make the most of your time.

However, most of these books lack the perspective of using our time in a way that glorifies and honors God. And they often don’t start with the root of the problem of poor time management which is not having a clear understanding of your priorities.

I have purchased my fair share of these books over the years. Some have inspired me to make positive changes in how I manage my time. I can’t say, though, that I’ve always taken their advice to heart.

I definitely have not been the poster child for good time management over the course of my life.

As The Planning Woman, just because I love to talk about planning and time management does not mean I always manage my time well. In fact, I often fail to manage my time in a way that brings glory to God.

Because I have such a desire to follow God and live out the priorities He has placed on my life, I feel called to share what I learn with other women so they can do the same.

After all, it’s not fun getting to the end of the day realizing you’ve done nothing of importance. You’ve only kept the plates spinning and not falling to the ground.

Ephesians 5:15-16 reminds us to use our time wisely: “Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

I want my time to count while I’m still here on earth. Don’t you?

God’s Word is full of instructions about how we should steward our time. Let’s dig in and see how we can use our time to bring about kingdom results. We will use this month’s Scripture Writing Plan to write out verses about how to use our time.
