Holiness-June Scripture Writing Plan

You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.

Leviticus 19:2b

I’m sure if you’ve been in church or lived in the Christian faith for any time at all, you’ve heard about holiness. We know that God is holy, and He commands us to be holy in both the Old Testament and New Testament (1 Peter 1:14-16)

But what does it mean to be holy?

Being holy means to be set apart. We are to live our lives modeled after Christ’s example. Which means pursuing a life of moral blamelessness and perfection.

Hold on! I’m not saying we’ll ever achieve moral blamelessness or perfection in this life. We will not be made perfect until we go to heaven.

However, that doesn’t mean we should live recklessly and with abandon. Being a Christ-follower means we love others, look out after the interests of others, consider others better than ourselves, meet the needs we see around us, speak wisely, avoid following the world, and rein in our desires.

There is so much more to how we should live as Christ-followers. Instead of listing every way we can live like Christ, I’ve created the June Scripture Writing Plan to help us focus on verses that show us how to live holy lives.

Fill out the form below to download your own copy. You’ll also have access to other Scripture Writing Plans that have been produced this year.
