The holiday season is upon us! With Halloween and fall festivals happening this weekend, we’re going to quickly flip the calendar to November, where Thanksgiving is on the horizon.
And then, before you know it, Christmas will be here.
Are you ready?
Or are you feeling frazzled because you have so much to do and don’t know where to begin?
I want to help you prepare for the holidays so you are not stressed or anxious. While a Pinterest-perfect holiday season is most likely unrealistic, you can craft a plan that will help you live out the best holiday season for you. And you can declutter the holidays so you can experience joy and peace.
In this week’s episode of Live it Out With The Planning Woman, I chat with Perry Ashley, certified mental fitness and life coach, about decluttering the holidays.
Our conversation may not be what you expect, though. We explore how getting our mindset in the right place can help us set the stage for a more peaceful and joyful holiday season. Essentially, we talk about how to declutter your mind for the holidays.
Let me share a bit about Perry so you can get to know her.
Perry’s passion is to help women overcome negative self-talk, emotions, and mindset barriers so they can navigate life with confidence and peace. She also helps them fully understand how God created them by embracing their unique strengths, gifts, values, and personality.
Walking people through where they currently are, seeing where they want to go, identifying and overcoming obstacles, and establishing an action plan is not new for Perry. She has converted these skills developed over 28 years of being a physical therapist to her life coaching career. Now certified in Positive Intelligence (PQ), she leads women through their mental fitness program to help them harness the power of their minds, making their minds work for them versus against them. She uses this program and scripture to help women take every thought captive, renew their minds and live life to the full.
Perry is a wife and mother and is active in church, youth camp, and Guatemala. As a life-long learner, she not only enjoys reading and discovering new truths, she supports her mental fitness in the outdoors by camping, boating, backpacking, and participating in wilderness adventures.
