Do these words describe your life? Are you drowning in a sea of chaos because you don’t know what to do next?
Sister, I’ve been there. And if I’m completely honest, life still feels this way at times.
As a wife and mother as well as a writer, life coach, time management consultant, business owner, and child of God, I stay busy just like you.
My mission as The Planning Woman is to help you discover real purpose, develop real plans, and delight in real peace.
Whether you are overwhelmed, short on time, continually putting out fires, or you feel like you are this close to living the life you want, I’m here to help you.
I have a confession to make … I’m a recovering perfectionist.
For most of my adult life, I’ve tried to live up to unrealistic expectations … expectations placed on me by the world and by my own self. Trying to live up to these expectations is hard work! Not to mention very discouraging when I feel I don’t measure up.
So, I’ve determined to break free from those unrealistic expectations to pursue peace … not perfection.
How? First, I place my faith in Jesus Christ. It’s the only way I can even remotely hope to maintain the peace I so desperately crave. He is the true source of the peace we all need.
I also pursue peace by spending time with God through prayer and Bible study. You see, if I focus on God and His perfect will for me, all else is just noise and distraction. Second, I have created systems that work for me so I’m not constantly falling behind with my responsibilities and commitments. Having a time management plan that takes into account all the tasks and projects I need to complete relieves the pressure of taking on too much and knowing what I need to do.
If this is your first time visiting, I’d love for you to get to know me better. Start by reading about my current planner set up, how I schedule weekly tasks, and how looking at the past can help you discover your purpose.
